Re-upholstery including frame repairs
I can take your furniture and strip back, make small repairs if necessary and rebuild using either fully traditional or combined with some modern techniques. I will preserve the character and integrity of your furniture in order to restore to its former glory or give it a modern twist. I can use fabric of your choosing or help you to pick something truly beautiful to ensure you have a genuinely unique piece!
Recovering
Often it is only the top cover of a piece of furniture that has worn out and needs replacing and the underlying upholstery is inherently good. In these cases a simple recover in an amazing fabric can give your furniture a completely new lease of life.
Headboards
I can either recover an existing headboard, or build you one to your specifications. I can use a fabric of your choice – perhaps to match bedroom curtains, or help you to find something beautiful to complement your décor.
Ottomans
Let me build you an ottoman with either a plain or deep-buttoned lid to your own specifications to fit exactly where you want it to go. Or do you already have an old lidded box that could do with a make-over? I can recover with perhaps a surprise when you open the lid!
Cushions and lampshades
Need a cushion to match your chair, or a lampshade to complement it? I can make either scalloped or drum lampshades in a fabric of your choice, and cushions of any size.

Sourcing
Living in the heart of France I have access to some of the most amazing second-hand shops and brocantes in the country as well as numerous vide greniers (car-boot sales) which are held throughout the year.
